On Sunday 12/15, Ohio Garrison, with support from Apollo Base, landed at the Avon Lake Public Library for their Jedi Event. There were a lot of fun activities, including where attendees could begin their Jedi training. We of course tried to talk them into Sith training instead.
On Friday 12/13 and Saturday 12/14, the Ohio Garrison teamed up with Apollo Base, Pacific Outpost, and Bluegrass Garrison to attend Cincinnati Cyclones Star Wars nights.This is a fan favorite yearly event that we enjoy doing! Best of all, the Cyclones won their Friday evening game!
The final chapter of the Skywalker saga is here! The Ohio Garrison teamed up with Apollo Base, Rancor Clan invaded theaters all over Ohio to excite fans before they went to see the movie! Best of all troopers at many of the theaters were able to collect over $3200 for various charities including Make A Wish, A Special Wish, and The Peter Mayhew Foundation! Well done troopers! #BadGuysDoingGood
This month, the Ohio Garrison started a new tradition to recognize, on a monthly basis, members that make an extra effort with their trooping and strive to help others. Each month, the previous month’s recipient will select the new recipient. We are happy to announce that David Hise has received the much anticipated “Golden Child” award! Congrats David! This is the way.
